Izzy Mangan's late goal lifted the Friars over Suffern, 7-6, as St. Anthony's pulled out another close victory. Before that game, the Friars dominated in league wins over Holy Trinity and Kellenberg. St. Anthony's, ranked fifth in the country, face 17th-ranked Garden City on Saturday.

2. SMITHTOWN WEST BOYS LACROSSE

Anchored by defensive stalwarts Logan Greco, JJ Foley and Kyle Mathie, the Bulls have allowed more than five goals in a game only twice this season. They will be put to the test Wednesday against rival Smithtown East, which has a potent attack line.

3. ST. DOMINIC BASEBALL

St. Dominic continues to dominate, having allowed one run or less in six of its 11 games. The Bayhawks are the only undefeated baseball team left, led by Brady Renner on the mound and Jack McCarty with the bat.

4. MANHASSET GIRLS LACROSSE

The Indians dominated Darien (Conn.), 17-6, and shot up to No. 4 in the national rankings, according to LaxPower. Darien had beaten L.I. powers Farmingdale and Garden City two weeks ago. Manhasset also had impressive conference wins over Cold Spring Harbor and North Shore.

5. HALF HOLLOW HILLS EAST BOYS TENNIS

The Thunderbirds completed another perfect week by going 4-0, including convincing wins over Westhampton and League I foe Commack. Hills East has won 94 straight Suffolk matches.

6. CHAMINADE BOYS TRACK

The success just keeps coming for the Flyers. The 4 x 800-meter relay team finished second at the Penn Relays this weekend. Tom Slattery, Sean Kelly, Gunnar Nolan and Andrew Dorritie ran a 7:39.44, the top American time this year, coach Brian Hayes said.

7. KELLENBERG GIRLS TRACK

Melany Belot won both hurdles events at the Iona Prep Invitational. Jazmine Fray won the 1,500 meters in 4:56, and took second in the 400 and the 200 at the same meet, coach Marty Brown said.

8. CHAMINADE BOYS LACROSSE

The Flyers suffered their first loss, falling to Yorktown, 5-3. Earlier in the week, Sean Cerrone scored the winner with two seconds left in overtime as the Flyers defeated St. Anthony's in the first battle between the two CHSAA powerhouses.

9. EAST MEADOW SOFTBALL

The defending Long Island champs suffered their first AA-I loss but remain in line to win another conference title. Claire Travis homered in an 8-1 win over Long Beach and Ashley Vecchione delivered a pair of two-out RBI singles in a 7-2 win over Massapequa.

10. MACARTHUR BASEBALL

Despite an 8-2 loss to Baldwin, their first of the season, the Generals continue to cruise. MacArthur bounced back with a sweep over Valley Stream Central, led by typically dominant pitching -- Adam Heidenfelder threw a one-hitter to open the series and Nick Mannarino tossed a two-hitter.
