1. ST. ANTHONY'S GIRLS LACROSSE

The Friars earned, perhaps, their most fulfilling victory in years, beating second-ranked St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, 9-8, on Saturday. Izzy Mangan scored the winner with 2:27 left, and Charlotte Campbell made 11 saves for St. Anthony's (9-1).

2. GARDEN CITY GIRLS LACROSSE

The Trojans continued to roll, earning two more impressive wins last week, and climbed to No. 4 in the national rankings. Krista Dampman and Jackie Jahelka each scored four goals in a 13-5 win over Wilton (Ct.), and Margot McTiernan had five goals in a 13-3 win over Long Beach.

3. WARD MELVILLE BOYS LACROSSE

Ward Melville dominated in a big road win over Northport, 11-2. The Patriots followed up that performance with a 14-4 win over Hauppauge. Christian Mazzone and Jack Bruckner have consistently played stellar on the offensive end, and while goalie Dan Nemirov hasn't had many close games to worry about, he has stepped up when needed.

4. COMMACK SOFTBALL

Erin Morrissey delivered for the Cougars this week, going a combined 6-for-7 with four RBIs in wins over Lindenhurst and Sachem North. Kristen Andrews was a double short of hitting for the cycle in a 10-4 win over Half Hollow Hills East.

5. CHAMINADE BOYS LACROSSE

The Flyers' nine-game winning streak to start the season was snapped after losing to Yorktown on Saturday, 12-8. Yet, Chaminade added to an impressive season by beating St. Ignatius College Preparatory, the west coast's top-ranked team, 5-4. Ryan Lukacovic, who continues to score at will, had three goals and one assist in the win.

6. WANTAGH BASEBALL

Pitcher Adam Aponte is 5-0 and teammate Mike Davanzo is 4-0 as the Warriors continue to roll in Nassau Conference A-1. Aponte's eighth inning walk-off single beat New Hyde Park 9-8. The Warriors went on to a three-game sweep.

7. KELLENBERG GIRLS TRACK

Jazmine Fray's 800 time of 2:14.07, run at the New York Relays on April 19 is currently the top time on LI. One weekend earlier, Kellenberg's 4X100 shuttle hurdle relay team clocked a 48.64 at the Nanuet relays - currently the top shuttle hurdle relay time on LI.

8. COMMACK BASEBALL

A three-game sweep of Longwood and sole possession of first place in Suffolk League I earns Commack a Big 10 spot. Rob Paccione, Vin Negri and Ryan Heizman have been outstanding on the hill for Commack. Kyle Krebs has been great in relief. Paul Maline has led a stout offense.

9. BAY SHORE GIRLS LACROSSE

The Marauders dominated in wins over Sachem East and Smithtown West before losing to Ward Melville. Bay Shore hung tough despite being two players down for most of the second half. The Marauders (10-1) still hold first place in Suffolk Division I.

10. COLD SPRING HARBOR BOYS TENNIS

The Seahawks continued to roll with a 6-1 win over Great Neck North last Wednesday, but have a tough test to open the final week of the regular season, Monday, at home against Syosset. The Braves are the only team to take three courts against Cold Spring Harbor this season, where no other opponent has taken more than one. Amanda Crimarco and Sabrina DeAngelis.

On the outside looking in; Manhasset girls lacrosse, Northport boys track, Bay Shore girls track, Kellenberg boys track, Kellenberg softball, Half Hollow Hills boys badminton.
