1. ST. ANTHONY'S GIRLS LACROSSE

The Friars defended their standing last week, earning big wins over local powers. Maggie Bill had four goals and Izzy Mangan had three goals and two assists in a 11-6 win over Garden City. Taylor Mitchell scored the deciding goal in OT of an 11-9 win over Manhasset.

2. WARD MELVILLE BOYS LACROSSE

The Patriots, still ranked No. 2 nationally, have been on a scoring binge with 69 goals in their last four games, including an incredible 10 goals in the first quarter against Sachem East.

3. WANTAGH BASEBALL

The Warriors (19-0) are coming off a tough three-game sweep of second place Garden City and are the top seed in the Nassau Class A playoffs. Mike Davanzo and Adam Aponte pitched gems again this week.

4. CHAMINADE BOYS LACROSSE

The Flyers beat CHSAA rival St. Anthony's for the second time this year, 7-5, and this time it was on the road. Ryan Lukacovic and Tommy Zenker have opened the month of May with three goals each in three consecutive games - all Chaminade victories.

5. KELLENBERG GIRLS TRACK

Kellenberg finished second to New Rochelle at last weekend's Somers Lions Club Invitational. Jazmine Fray won the 800 in 2:15.6, finished second in the 400 in 57.21 seconds, and ran the anchor leg on the 4X400 team that won in 4:00.7.

6. BAY SHORE SOFTBALL

The Marauders will look to complete an unbeaten league season this week behind the bats of Giana Panariello and Courtney Syrett. Michelle DeVito tossed a three-hit shutout in a 10-0 win over second-place Connetquot.

7. COLD SPRING HARBOR BOYS TENNIS

The Seahawks finished the season undefeated and clinched another Conference I-A title. They had a first-round bye in the Nassau playoffs, and will play Roslyn in a semifinal match this week.

8. HALF HOLLOW HILLS GIRLS BADMINTON

Thundercolts beat Miller Place 8-1 and Smithtown East 9-0 to win the fourth straight League I championship. Gina Augusta and Carly Cordano won 15-8, 15-11 at first doubles and Divya Rao and Monica Chen won 15-9, 3-15, 15-12 at second doubles to complete undefeated seasons. Half Hollow Hills has won 59 straight matches dating back to 2010.

9. GARDEN CITY GIRLS LACROSSE

The Trojans had a 20-game win streak snapped, taking their first loss in a calendar year to St. Anthony's. They did, however, rebound with an 8-7 win over Shoreham-Wading River, the defending Class C state champion, and Kayla Murphy and Jackie Jahelka each scored twice for Garden City (14-1).

10. BAYPORT-BLUE POINT BASEBALL

The Phantoms finished the school's first undefeated regular season with a 20-0 record and make their debut in the Big 10. The pitching has been excellent led by Jack Piekos (7-0), Chris Brewer (6-0) and Ryan Dollop (6-0). P.J. Weeks is 1-0 and had the save in the 20th win.
