OLIVIA CHAN
LONG ISLAND SWIMMER OF THE YEAR
Sewanhaka, Sr. Chan, one one of the most decorated local swimmers in recent memory, capped her stellar high school career by adding two more state titles to her collection. She captured gold in the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.31) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.83), giving the New Hyde Park senior seven individual championships. In 2011, she also won state titles in both events and set the Nassau record in the 100 breaststroke.
