Blunt, Morrison lead Ward Melville to LI AA title
Haley Blunt and Noelle Morrison helped Ward Melville beat Massapequa, 3-1, last night at St. Joseph's in the Long Island Class AA final and advance to the state tournament in Glens Falls.
Game 4 was very tight as Blunt, who coach Charlie Fernandes calls his "hammer," came down on Massapequa (18-1) with a kill to win it 25-23.
