Larchmont to offer jolly trolley service for holiday shoppers
Nothing ruins a good shopping spree like the lack of a parking space. The Larchmont Chamber of Commerce hopes to lessen the stress, at least for one day.
The Chamber is providing a trolley to shuttle holiday shoppers between two business districts on Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shoppers are encouraged to park at the Larchmont train station where there is plenty of parking and catch the trolley at the corner of Palmer and Chatsworth Avenues. The jolly trolley will drop off passengers in front of Tequila Sunrise on Larchmont Avenue and continue to loop around, receiving and unloading passengers along the way.
The trolley is free to ride and made possible by sponsorship from five local businesses: Giovanni’s Italian Deli, Hiawatha Martial Arts, Hunan Restaurant, Salon Firefly, and The Coughlin Group.
