Boys lacrosse roundup: O'Reilly leads South Side

Nick O'Reilly had three goals and four assists to power South Side (7-0) past Carey, 15-4, Friday in Nassau Conference B-I boys lacrosse. Bryan Gerrato scored three times and Colin Serling had a goal and four assists.

Lynbrook 14, Lawrence 1: Jake Stern and Dan Kaplan each had two goals and one assist for Lynbrook (7-0) in Conference B-I. Lawrence is 0-7. Garden City 14, New Hyde Park 3: Francis McDonough, Will Fuller and Dan Savage each had two goals and two assists to lead Garden City (6-1) in Conference B-I.

Cold Spring Harbor 17, Mineola 3: Junior goalkeeper Greg Hanley made 10 saves in his first varsity start for Cold Spring Harbor (8-0) in Conference B-II. Jack Switala had three goals for CSH.

Baldwin 15, Hempstead 6: Sophomore Max Malinowski had a career-high five assists and scored one goal, and Paul Murphy scored four goals for Baldwin (3-4) in Conference A.

Bay Shore 15, Brentwood 2: Chris Sweeney had three goals and three assists for Bay Shore (8-3) in Suffolk Division I. Brentwood is 0-11.

Half Hollow Hills West 12, Commack 5: John Conneely and David DiMaria each had four goals for Hills West (9-2) in Division I. Kevin O'Shea had five assists.

Whitman 18, North Babylon 5: Sean Zakow had three goals and two assists for Whitman (8-3) in Division I. John Mills added three goals and one assist.
