A closer look at Newsday's 42nd annual All-Long Island boys basketball team:

FIRST TEAM

A.J. PRICE
Suffolk Player of the Year

Amityville (6-2, senior)
Connecticut-bound point guard led Amityville to the Class A state public schools title game. Price, a two-time Suffolk Player of the Year, averaged 29 points and eight rebounds in 15 games.

KAHIEM SEAWRIGHT
Nassau Player of the Year
Uniondale (6-7, junior)
Seawright led Uniondale to a 21-2 season and its first Class AA Long Island championship. He averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks.

CLARENCE ALONZO
Longwood (6-0, senior)
Alonzo, a four-year starter, took Longwood (16-6) to the Suffolk Class AA championship game. He averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and finished his career with 1,097 points and a school-best 434 assists.

ALEX ANDERSON
South Side (6-5, senior)
Anderson, a two-year starter, led South Side to a 16-7 season and the Nassau Class A title. He averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds and shot 48 percent from three-point range. Anderson will play at Hamilton College.

JOHN GARCIA
Brentwood (6-8, junior)
Garcia, a finalist for Suffolk Player of the Year, led Brentwood to the Suffolk Class AA semifinals after an 18-1 regular season. He averaged 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks, and has 655 career points.

DANNY GREEN
