***3rd round, No. 82 Jason Clark

After taking Kabanov at No. 65, the Islanders selected Shattuck-St. Mary's forward Jason Clark at No. 82.

Clark, who knows Kyle Okposo a bit from training with him and others (Zach Parise, Drew Stafford, etc) in the summertime, said he sees himself becoming a high-energy, third-line center who isn't afraid to mix it up.

***4th round, No. 85, the Islanders traded to the Colorado Avalanche for a third-round pick in 2011.
