Right wing, 1972-79
Westfall came to the fledgling franchise in the expansion draft after a distinguished decade, and two Stanley Cups, in Boston. He never won one on the Island, but he set the stage and the tone for the Cup years as the Isles’ first captain. Retired a season before the championships began, he’s still remembered as the one who brought a championship attitude to the club.
