Islanders attendance through the years

+-

No matter where the Islanders call home, the team's attendance always will be a hot topic. Their current arena, Barclays Center, has the second lowest capacity in the NHL at 15,795, while the old Nassau Coliseum sat between 16,170 and 16,297 for the last two decades of Islanders hockey in Nassau. Here's a look at the Islanders' average attendance and league ranking each year since the 2000-01 season. (Note: No games were played in 2004-05 due to NHL lockout).
