Bad Blood? You bet
Hardly any hesitation from anyone asked the question: Is there bad blood between these two teams?
"There's no good blood between us, that's for sure," tough guy Zenon Konopka said. "There won't be Christmas cards exchanged on that end of the hallway."
"Yeah, definitely," Matt Martin said. "That's definitely going to be in our minds a little bit tonight, but we have to focus on the game here and find a way to win at home."
So, yes, expect a chippy game tonight.
"Anytime we're playing Philly it's going to be a physical game," Martin said. "These two teams don't really like each other and they're division rivals. They're never going to be pretty; they're going to be physical and it's going to be fun."
****Trent Hunter is back in the lineup tonight; Scott Gordon declined to say who was out, so take your guess: Schremp, Gillies, Parenteau, etc.
****When asked about the decision to start Dwayne Roloson, Gordon said he wanted to keep Rick DiPietro away from the scene of the crime (last Saturday's 6-1 loss in Philly).
