First day of Isles rookie camp
Besides the conspicuous absence of prospect Kirill Kabanov (see earlier post), Isles rookie camp got off to a good start today with a rigorous two-hour session at IceWorks in Syosset today.
Among the notables on the ice today was Islanders first-round draft pick Nino Niederreiter, selected fifth overall in June.
