M*A*S*H* unit at Coliseum

It looked like a regular M*A*S*H unit for the Islanders at Nassau Coliseum this morning, with Andrew MacDonald (foot) donning a full boot and Rob Schremp (knee) hobbling along on crutches.

Schremp told me this morning that there wasn't one definitive incident that led to the meniscus tear that will sideline him in the next week. He said he's been feeling some nagging discomfort in that knee the whole season, but he felt it take a serious turn for the worst when he made a turn and heard it click during Tuesday's game in Philadelphia.

Schremp will meet with team doctors soon and likely undergo surgery early next week.

Trent Hunter (upper body) and Blake Comeau (back) are both practicing with the team during the morning skate today.
