Ullstrom (NHL debut), Okposo in for Isles; Niederreiter, Comeau out
Jack Capuano decided to sit rookie Nino Niederreiter, who has played six games in the last nine days -- three in Bridgeport and the last three with the Isles. Blake Comeau, minus-11 and still without a point in 15 games, also sits.
Ullstrom was called up from Bridgeport to try and continue his good offensive touch -- his 12 goals were tops on the Sound Tigers. He moved from center to wing after three games and has been a regular contributor since.
"I played some wing in Sweden too," the 22-year-old said, "so it doesn't matter where I am. I just need to get some shots on the net. Good things happen when you throw pucks there, and that's how it's been going for me."
Capuano did not divulge lines this morning.
Mike Mottau is also a scratch on defense, with the same six D who played in Saturday's 6-0 shelling by the Bruins remaining in the lineup.
