Things haven’t been going well for the Islanders in their own end the last three weeks, but one of the bright spots head coach Jack Capuano sees is his fourth line. More than just providing breathers for the top lines, the fourth line has found itself on the score sheet in the past handful of games. Eric Boulton chipped in with his first goal as an Islander on Saturday against the Flyers, and Casey...Read more »
Eric Boulton may not make it into any of the Isles’ playoff games, but the 36-year-old enforcer was on the roster during the Devils’ run to the Stanley Cup final last spring and knows what it takes to get there. But even...Read more »
Lubomir Visnovsky reported that his 4-year-old son had successful, unspecified surgery in Bratislava, Slovakia, over the weekend and that his wife and two children soon will be joining the defenseman on Long Island. Visnovsky did not report to the Islanders when training camp began due to concerns over his son’s health. He hoped to stay the entire season in Slovakia but the KHL said he could not....Read more »
