Isles suffer another loss and lost players
If nothing else, the Islanders have learned how to deal with injuries and adversity in this "Shorthanded Season." But after playing .500 hockey in their previous 30 games (13-13-4), the loss of leading goal-scorer Kyle Okposo and leading points producer Mark Streit, their two best players, was too great a strain to overcome in a 5-1 loss to Montreal last night at Nassau Coliseum.
