Rangers add offense with Ales Kotalik

With the possible departure of Nikolai Zherdev, who has filed for salary arbitration, the Rangers Thursday signed a right wing who could replace some of Zherdev's offense.

Unrestricted free agent Ales Kotalik agreed to a three-year, $9-million contract with the Rangers. He had 20 goals and 23 assists last season with Buffalo and Edmonton.
