DENVER----So here's the scenario:  Ales Kotalik is in New York. Chris Higgins is here in Denver and expected to fly with team to L.A. around noon (2 p.m. ET) for tomorrow night's game. Olli Jokinen and Brandon Prust are in Calgary, which hosts Flyers tonight.  So a deal, which appeared to be close last night, seems to be on hold for today.

Snags happen in the world of trades, but once players' names are out there, it's certainly awkward and sensitive for those involved. It is a business, though.

Sounds as if Calgary is buying time and might want to rethink proposal on table. Find it difficult to believe that Kotalik wouldn't waive his limited no-trade clause at this point.  Stay tuned. This could still happen in some shape or form late tonight after the Calgary game or tomorrow.
