The finale before the Olympic break may be decided by special teams and goaltending.

With key PPers Marian Gaborik and Mike Del Zotto injured, Jody Shelley makes his Rangers debut and Corey Potter is back from Hartford. They won't be on with the man-advantage.

Without Del Zotto on the power play, assume either Rozsival or Gilroy will be on the point opposite Jokinen, tandems employed in Pittsburgh.

The first two lines will be Dubinsky-Jokinen-Drury and Prospal-Christensen-Callahan, and guessing third will be Avery-Anisimov-Prust and four will be Shelley-Boyle-Voros.

With a regulation win, Rangers can tie Tampa with 63 points with 20 games to play after the hiatus.

Blue Notes won't be in Vancouver sadly, but we won't be on hiatus. Live chat tomorrow at noon, and planning to cruise up to Hartford next week for some observations and interviews.  And we'll be providing some Olympics-related coverage and commentary here and on twitter.com/stevezipay throughout.

Swing back during the matinee. And Happy Valentine's Day.
