Gaborik: Hopes to skate next week, but not close

....Marian Gaborik is working hard on cardio, even some weights, but his return from a separated left shoulder is still weeks away.

Although out of the sling, he's still in some pain after workouts and likely won't take his first skate until next week.  After riding the bike while the Rangers practiced today, he said the doctors are pleased with his progress, but I cannot imagine seeing him before the Sabres game at the Garden on Nov. 11, just shy of a month since the injury against the Leafs on Oct. 15. That would mean he will miss another eight games.

A full month would mean that, without a setback,  he returns against the Oilers in a Garden matinee on Nov. 14.
