Ryan Callahan: "We've been in this situation before. We just have to go into Jersey and try to get that next game. We can't get down. We'll get a day off and be ready to work on Friday."

Carl Hagelin: "They wre feeling good about themselves from the get-go. We didn't do a well enough job along the boards, so it was easy for them to keep the puck in. That's how you create momentum, and they did that."

Chris Kreider tied the NHL record for most playoff goals (4) and points (6) by a player who never skated in a regular-season game...Marc Staal had four poitns (2-2) in the last six games. He was on ice a game high 27:26...10 goals have been scored by Blueshirt defensemen in the playoffs...With an assist, Artem Anisimov has five points in six games.  12 of the 16 games have been decided by a goal...
