Game 6 preview: Eminger in for Bickel, no NJ changes

At least that how it appears here at MSG, where the Rangers had an optional skate. Steve Eminger came into the locker room early, Stu Bickel remained on the ice with the scratches, Mats Zuccarello, John Mitchell and John Scott among them.  I have no problem with that.

In Newark, coach Peter DeBoer annnounced there would be no changes for the Devs.

Here's what DeBoer said about Lundqvist when asked about three goals on the first five shots in Game 5:  "We're not counting on that again. We expect him to have his best game in the series."

Lundqvist today: "That is a good team we're playing, but we know we can do it."

Michael Del Zotto, who did not practice yesterday, presumably to attend his grandmother's funeral, was one of the first on the ice.

John Tortorella had nothing particularly new or illuminating, except that he believed the team was in the right mindset, which had slipped earlier in the series.  "I think our team really embraces a challenge....It's just a fantasic opportunity."

Joining the Memorial Day traffic now, will be back with a dispatch from Newark....
