Marc-Andre Fleury denies Rangers 2nd point in 2-1 loss

Rick Nash, with another clutch  third-period goal, got the Rangers one point in Pittsburgh, their third of a possible four against the top team in the East, which was well-deserved. Intense effort by the Blueshirts, who are in Raleigh tomorrow, where I thnk Martin Biron will play.  And I think Michael Del Zotto will play, too. I didn't see enough for a suspension on the James Neal hit, which was intiated by the forecheck.

All the players and Torts said Fleury was incredibly sharp, and who wouldn't agree? The Rangers will win a fair number of game with the effort they showed in the last two against the Penguins to jump back into seventh place.

There was plenty of bad blood brewing though, and a playoff first-round matchup would be tasty.  More later...
