Nash, Pyatt not practicing; Dom Moore, Chris Kreider on ice

Dom Moore (strained oblique) told me after last night's game that he was "getting closer" to returning, and in fact, the center is skating with the team, as an 8th D, at practice this morning, according to reports from the team. As I mentioned yesterday, I believe they are targeting Saturday against Montreal, and if not, then Sunday against the Kings.

Also skating is Chris Kreider, who was the subject of several reports last night as perhaps being targeted for suspension for the penalized cross-check on Scottie Upshall near the end of regulation. If you read my earlier posts, I didn't think he would be. NHL has not announced anything so far...

Rick Nash and Taylor Pyatt, each of whom have concussions, as expected were not practicing. Nash might skate for the third day afterward.

BTW, if I were a betting man, Lundqvist will be in goal against the Devils Tuesday and Cam Talbot goes in Montreal and No. 30 is back the next evening at home in the B2B tilt against the Kings.
