Just to warm up with a little recent history...

Jan. 21, 2012, almost a year ago, to the day,  the Rangers were at TD Bank Garden, with Henrik Lundqvist vs. Tuukka Rask, the two netminders expected to square off on Saturday, and the Blueshirts won 3-2 in OT on Marian Gaborik's goal. It was the Rangers' 30th win of the season.

Then there was the Valentine's Day game, Lundqvist vs. Tim Thomas, now semi-retired. Lundqvist was absolutely superb in a 42-save, 3-0 shutout.

The final two matchups were in New York.  On March 4, with Derek Stepan's winner, the Blueshirts prevailed 4-3.

On April's Fools Day,  the Bruins edged the Rangers 2-1 on Patrice Bergeron's goal.
