Okay, just filed a story that should be online shortly with quotes from Matt Gilroy and Brian Boyle, who were clearly deeply affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.  Heartfelt stuff.

We're told by security officials to expect extra procedures here at Wells Fargo Center,  although there was nothing noticeable for the morning skate.

As for the skate:

Same lineup, with Lundqvist in goal.

Derek Dorsett (broken clavicle) skated in the optional for the first time, but is NOT cleared for contact. He first skated Monday on his own, and won't make any guess as to when he can return. Docs are still taking and reviewing X-rays.

Marc Staal also skated, and isn't cleared for contact either. I spoke to him afterward and, except for his anger over the Boston bombings, felt OK.

More in a few...
