Rangers prep for first game of season in New Jersey

After an off day on Super Sunday, the Blueshirts practice today at 11 and visit Newark tomorrow for the first of four against the Devils (the last two are home games during the last week of the regular season April 21, 27)...

You can bet (and yeah, I had the Ravens with a friendly wager) that Henrik Lundqvist will face Martin Brodeur at The Rock, barring unforeseen circumstances.

One storyline today at practice will be the status of Chris Kreider (ankle), and whether Stu Bickel will play out-of-position at forward again. We know captain Ryan Callahan remains out.

Will be back with more from practice, and remember to follow me for breaking news and commentary on Twitter @stevezipay
