Tampa time: Lightning host banged-up NYR tonight

It's a 7:30 p.m. start at the Forum, kids, which gives me an opp for a quick swim and a nap here after about five hours of sleep and a flight....

The coach is expected to brief us at 5:20, but my assumption is that Ryan Callahan is out and possibly Michael Del Zotto, who aggravated the right hip stinger that occured in Buffalo when he collided with the goalpost. So I don't have any lineups, except this: Henrik Lundqvist is on tap to play on his 30th birthday.

Rangers are 8-1-1 in the second game of back to backs. Of course, that's without a depleted lineup. Dan Girardi (arm/wrist) and Mike Rupp (buckled leg) have to be achy after last night's game.

The Blueshirts, with 88 points, are 2-0-1 overall vs the Lightning and watch out for Derek Stepan, who had two assists last night. He's recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in three games against Tampa. Lundqvist is 1-0-1 with a 1.92 GAA and .930 save percentage.
