As indicated late yesterday,  Mats Zuccarello and Jesper Fast are coming...

Their immediate roles at this point? Unclear.

Here's what we do know:

When the Rangers arrive in Ottawa later today (practice cancelled), they will meet up with Zuccarello, who was flying from Norway.  He will undergo the required physical and presumably skate Thursday morning before the Senators game if all the paperwork is in order.

Fast, 21, is in New York via Sweden, same medical requirements, unsure whether he will wait here, report to Hartford, etc. Will advise as necessary.

After Tuesday's 5-2 dismissal of the fading Flyers in Philly,  would coach John Tortorella change the lineup in Ottawa?  Doubt it.  Thinking Zuke would need at least one practice. Unless there are moves that will come to fruition today or tomorrow.  With Torts liking J. T. Miller at center, would not be surprised if Kris Newbury is re-assigned to the AHL at some point soon.

Darroll Powe was the spare forward last night.

I'll be catching up with the team in Ottawa later this afternoon.....
