Quick hits:

1.  Federal mediators are meeting with NHL, NHLPA reps at undisclosed location starting around 1 p.m.  Expecting these non-binding sessions to last more than one day....

2. Auction of a Henrik Lundqvist mask raised $66,000 for Sandy relief, according to Steiner Sports, apparently the highest ever for a goatender's mask. And we're told that organizers for Operation Hat Trick in Atlantic City had hoped to raise $500,000 for Sandy fund-raisers. Rink was sold out, as we reported, and concession stands, commemorative shirt sales were good, so although all numbers haven't been released, expect that number to be reached for sure.

3.  Forbes Magazine says Rangers turned $74 mil profit last season, Leafs are worth $1 billion, and Montreal doing boffo numbers, too.  But revenue dispartty between top and bottom teams never been as large.
