Just a hunch. MSG board ops won't be showing Zach Parise's goal during the Canadien National Anthem tonight...

We'll discuss tonight's game, the trade deadline, what's next, whatever you desire on our weekly live chat here at 1 p.m.  Please file your questions/comments/requests early, these soirees have been pretty popular.

Won't have to be waiting for the electrician or someone like him, (actually our heating repairman will be by tomorrow AM with a condensation pump for the modest upper level of  Chez Zipay), so I'll be armed with soup and sandwich by 12:55.

Michael Del Zotto will return tonight for the first time since he and Evgeny Malkin tangled up in a heap and the Pens center's skate sliced through his jersey, opening a 50-stitch cut.  Marian Gaborik (groin) remains sidelined, and will likely miss Saturday night's game in Washington and perhaps Sunday's homer vs. Sabres. Wouldn't be a bad time for Olli Jokinen, who gives the Blueshirts a presence without Gaborik and has played hard since his acquisition on Feb. 2,  to find the net a few times.

And perhaps all the players, now that the deadline has passed, can totally focus on a 60-minute effort.  Cannot for the life of me figure why that wouldn't be the case...

Rangers remain in ninth in the East (29-27-7) and are 4-1-0 in the last five sandwiched around the break. Eighteen to play after tonight.
