Rangers sign Tyler Arnason, two others
The Rangers added some depth by signing Avalanche forward Tyler Arnason to a two-way contract Friday.
Arnason, 30, an eight-year NHL veteran, played 71 games for Colorado last season and scored five goals and 22 points. The two-way contract allows the Rangers to send Arnason to the minors without having to put him through waivers.
The Rangers also signed free agent forwards P.A. Parenteau and Corey Locke. Parenteau scored 29 goals with the Rangers' top farm club in Hartford last season. His 78 points ranked ninth in the AHL.
Locke, 25, scored 25 goals for the AHL's Houston Aeros last season. He is a former fourth-round pick of Montreal.
