Rangers attendance through the years

+-

Madison Square Garden may look a bit different these days, but the Rangers have remained a hot ticket at MSG through the years. Ranked No. 21 in the NHL in capacity, the Garden currently holds 18,006 fans for hockey, down from 18,200 before renovations began in 2012, but up from the 17,200 capacity during the remodeling in 2012-13. Here's a look at the Rangers' average attendance and league ranking each year since the 2000-01 season. (Note: No games were played in 2004-05 due to NHL lockout).
