Rangers finding success on power plays
GREENBURGH, N.Y. — After finishing last season ranked 29th on the power play, the Rangers are about twice as good this year. It’s a small sample, but through nine games the Rangers (7-2) are scoring on 26.8 percent of their opportunities (11-for-41) and are tied for sixth in the league.
