The Blueshirts look to snap a three-game losing streak and it won't be easy against G Johan Hedberg (8-3, 2.22) and the Thrashers (9-5-1 on the road.)....C Brandon Dubinsky, as we reported earlier, is probable after missing 13 games with a broken right hand. Enver Lisin is back in the lineup after not playing in four of the last six.  The other story line is the expected breakup of the team's leading scorers, Marian Gaborik and Vinny Prospal for the first time since the beginning of the season. Gaborik would be to the right of Dubinsky, with Christopher Higgins on the left. Prospal would move to left wing with Chris Drury and  Ryan Callahan.  The scratches would be Erik Christensen and Aaron Voros. If things change in warmups here at the Garden, we'll update....

                   FIRST PERIOD

Rangers have five shots, with the best from Lisin, stopped in front by Hedberg's pad....Dubinsky has had several shifts....Very good pressure by Dubinsky-Gaborik-Higgins (the latter must have four hits) and Del Zotto crept infor a shot at the post that Hedberg stopped. Crowd cheered for Dubi with 8:15 left... Rangers continue to press, and on a rebound of Girardi's shot, Hedberg dives to stop Kotalik's shot with his stick, and the Rangers forward looks to the ceiling...Shots are 13-3....Wade Redden called for holding the arm of Thorburn along the boards at 16:27 and just 14 seconds later a Thrashers goal on their fourth shot, from Slava Kozlov, 1-0 Thrashers. Puck ticked off Marc Staal and rose...When you're in a deep funk, this is how the breaks go. Shots: 16-6

                  FIRST INTERMISSION

Prospal cutting down right side, feeds Del Zotto to the left on a 2-on-1 and the rookie shoots wide to the glove side of Hedberg ....Lundqvist just stopped Afinigenov in close....Thrashers have 11 shots through first half of his period... pad stop by Lundqvist on Kubina. If Atlanta gets a second goal this period, the Rangers could be finished...Higgins' shot on a feed from Dubisnky was tipped wide. Hedberg stops Gaborik and holds on....OK, Rangers have 1st PP with 7:08 left, as Evander Kane whistled for holding. It's the same No. 1 unit for Blueshirts. One shot on Hedberg, a backhander....With 3:34 left, Drury is sprung by a long pass from Rozsival and Ron Hainsey hauls him down. Second PP right now....Callahan, wth his 7th,  ties it on a breakway, faking left and going between net and extended right leg of Hedberg. 1-1. That was a goal line to blue line feed from Del Zotto...And Bogosian off for hooking. Big momentum swing possible here...
