I'll Have Another looks to win horse racing's Triple Crown at Saturday's Belmont Stakes. Here is race day information for those looking to attend:
DATE: June 9, 2012
TIME: The Belmont Stakes is the 11th race of the day. Post time for the Stakes is 6:40 p.m.
ADMISSION: General admission is $10; clubhouse admission is $20.
PARKING: Gates open at 8:15 a.m. General parking is $10; preferred parking is $25; clubhouse parking is $40
LIRR: The "Belmont Package" is not available on the day of the Stakes. Train schedules for the Belmont Staktes can be found here.
FOOD AND ALCOHOL POLICY: All coolers are subject to search, and are only allowed in the grandstand backyard area. No alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the facility. Personal food, non-alcoholic beverages and non-glass containers may be brought inside the facility.
GRANSTAND RULES: Small fold out chairs are allowed only in the backyard. No open flames, canopies, tents or tailgating allowed.
ATTIRE: Men should wear suits or sport coats, and ties are required. Women should wear appropriate attire. No shorts, T-shirts or jeans are allowed.
