Orb returned to the track early Wednesday morning for the first time since winning Saturday's Kentucky Derby.

He jogged a mile at muddy Belmont Park for exercise rider Jenn Patterson in preparation for the Preakness Stakes on May 18.

"Jenn said he was feeling good and moving good," said trainer Shug McGaughey, who plans to give Orb a workout Monday before shipping to Pimlico the next day.

Trainer Eddie Plesa announced John Velazquez will ride Itsmyluckyday in the Preakness after the colt finished 15th for Elvis Trujillo in the Derby.

Other horses considered definites for the race are Oxbow, Will Take Charge and Titletown Five, all trained by D. Wayne Lukas; Goldencents and Departing.

Possibilities include Mylute, Govenor Charlie, Normandy Invasion, Vyjack and Street Spice.
