For some, the marathon is serious business, and for others, it's a chance to clown around. Count Levittown's Jason Orsini, 35, in the later category. Dressed in full clown regalia, Orsini cartwheeled down the finishing straightaway of the half marathon, crossing the line in 2 hours, 44 minutes.

"I've been doing these marathons for years," Orsini said. "I do it for fun now."

Orsini said he's done the marathon for 18 years, but last year marked the first that he donned the clown garb.

"The families love it, the kids love it, and it's just a great time for everybody," he said.

The fun included balloons, which Orsini attached to his back and let flutter in the wind as he ran.

"It's like a parachute," he said. "It gives me a better work out."
