Adams is a graduate of Penn State University, where he holds the all-time record for career saves (694).
While at Penn State, Adams was awarded the ECAC Goalie of the Year honor three times, and was an Honorable Mention All-American in 2009.
Adams was selected by the Lizards with their third-round pick (19th overall) in the 2009 MLL Collegiate Draft.
Adams' favorite movie character is Indiana Jones.
Adams ranked fourth in MLL with an 11.75 goals against average in 2011. He also ranked third in the MLL with a .561 save percentage while leading the league in minutes played (704:44).
Adams was named the 2011 Warrior MLL Goalkeeper of the Year. The award is based on votes submitted by the head coaches and general managers of each of the league’s six teams.
Adams plays tennis in his free time.
