Mariano Rivera, 43, left Panama City to debut with the Yankees in the minor leagues in 1990. Rivera has been the Yankees' closer since 1997 and is widely considered to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He is Major League Baseball's all-time leader in saves with 633.
