2011 Scripps National Spelling Bee

The oral rounds of the 84th edition of the bee began the morning of June 1, 2011, with 275 spellers ages 8 to 15 from across the United States and around the world competing. The finalists will compete Thursday night for more than $40,000 in cash and prizes.
