A sampling of Super Bowl prop bets
Will Renee Fleming wear gloves when she sings the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 2? And if she does, what color will they be.
On their own, these are among the more ridiculous questions you'll come across during Super Bowl week. But, in the context of Super Bowl prop bets, well, they're just as ridiculous, but at least there's now an element of interest for some of you.
Bovada has posted odds for the fun types of bets to make on the Super Bowl. Sure, picking the right box in your office pool can be a good time and a mini-windfall of your co-workers' cash, but that's all dependent on the proper confluence of luck, luck and the right play call.
Prop bets -- wagers placed on occurences in a game or event that don't directly affect the final outcome -- bring a different level of excitement to the Super Bowl, as will hosting the big game at MetLife Stadium for the first time.

(By the way, the odds are -200 that Fleming does wear gloves and +150 that she doesn't. White (5/4), black (3/2) and red (4/1) are the colors to choose from. Or, get risky and take the 3/1 odds on any other color)
