Minor roster moves for NY baseball media
So it is again this year. SNY enters its seventh season with Gary Cohen, Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez calling Mets games, while Michael Kay is in his 11th year on Yankees play-by-play for YES, as is Ken Singleton, who does both play-by-play and game analysis.
Lou Piniella has joined YES’ rotating roster of analysts on a limited basis, including for Friday’s opener against the Rays. The other prominent addition to YES’ Yankees crew is reporter Meredith Marakovits. She will assume the role held for the past seven years by Kimberly Jones, who is bound for the NFL Network. (WFAN's Sweeny Murti was a finalist for the YES job.)
John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman are back in WCBS’ Yankees radio booth, but the Mets and WFAN have made a change, hiring Josh Lewin to replace Wayne Hagin, whose contract was not renewed after four seasons.
