Neil Best leaves no stone unturned in the world of sports media.
Michael Kay weighed in on his ESPN New York Radio show Thursday afternoon on the matter of Daniel Murphy's two-game paternity leave, and about what other talk show hosts have said about it, especially on WFAN.
He called out Boomer Esiason by name.
There was much yelling involved.
Here ya go:

Michael Kay's YES Network simulcast of his ESPN New York Radio show, which began two months ago Thursday, has averaged 19,000 viewers, YES said, citing Nielsen data for the New York area.
That is higher than the 14,000 viewers Mike Francesa's WFAN simulcast averaged during the same time frame in 2013, with Francesa's show coming at significantly more cost to YES.
Kay's viewership presumably...Read more »
Opening Day began a new era in local New York baseball media, with the Mets on WOR radio and Mike Francesa for the first time in his career hosting a WFAN show during a Mets game.
Tuesday night will bring another change: YES carrying a simulcast of Michael Kay’s ESPN New York radio show on a day when YES’ play-by-play man will call a regular-season Yankees game.
How will that work logistically?

Michael Kay opened his first simulcast on the YES Network Monday with a not-so-veiled shot at WFAN's Mike Francesa, who occupied that time slot for 12 years.

The gag was executed wordlessly, but the reference...Read more »

Now he works 3 to 6 p.m., although he will expand those hours to 3 to 7 during...Read more »
