Chris Weidman's middleweight title defense at UFC 187 on Memorial Day weekend was the 100th bout for a fighter raised and/or trained on Long Island inside the UFC's octagon.

The next 100 kick off this Saturday. Here's a brief look at the UFC fights scheduled for Long Island-based fighters.

UFC Fight Night in New Orleans

Wade (9-1), from Islip, is one of five New York State high school wrestling championships to compete in the UFC. Wade, who trains at Long Island MMA, won his first two fights in the UFC. Giagos (11-3) submitted his last opponent in the first round in March after dropping his UFC debut last October. This fight airs as part of the prelims on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

JUNE 27: EDDIE GORDON VS. ANTONIO CARLOS JUNIOR

"The Ultimate Fighter" Brazil Finale 4 in Hollywood, Florida

Gordon, a Serra-Longo fighter from Freeport, won Season 19 of "The Ultimate Fighter" in July of 2014 then dropped his next two fights. Gordon (8-3) faces Carlos Junior, winner of the heavyweight division of "TUF Brazil 3." Carlos Junior. lost his last fight by unanimous decision to light heavyweight Patrick Cummins. The placement of this middleweight bout on the card has yet to be announced.

JULY 11: DENNIS BERMUDEZ VS. JEREMY STEPHENS

UFC 189 in Las Vegas

Bermudez, who lives in West Islip and trains at Bellmore Kickboxing and Long Island MMA, had his seven-fight win streak snapped last November against Ricardo Lamas. Bermudez (15-4) is ranked No. 8 in the UFC featherweight division. Stephens (23-11) lost his last two fights and five of his last eight. This bout will be part of the pay-per-view card, which starts at 10 p.m.

Headliner: Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor (featherweight championship)

JULY 15: AL IAQUINTA VS. BOBBY GREEN

Iaquinta, a Serra-Longo fighter from Wantagh, is on a four-fight win streak in the lightweight division, the UFC's deepest and most competitive weight class. Iaquinta (12-3-1) is ranked No. 13 among the UFC's 155-pounders, with his opponent Bobby Green ranked No. 11. Green (23-6) has his eight-fight win streak snapped last November against Edson Barboza. This bout serves as the co-main event for the main card, which begins at 10 p.m. Headliner: Frank Mir vs. Todd Duffee

JULY 25: GIAN VILLANTE VS. TOM LAWLOR

UFC on Fox 16 in Chicago

Villante, from Levittown, won back-to-back fights for the first in his five-fight UFC history. Villante (13-5, 3-2 UFC), who trains at Bellmore Kickboxing Academy and is the main training partner of UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, is a tough light heavyweight with power and a good wrestling background. Lawlor (9-5, 5-4) hasn't fought since April of 2013 when he submitted Michael Kuiper at middleweight. Villante, winner of three of his last four, has two straight Fight of the Night performance bonuses. The placement of this bout on the card has yet to be announced.
