Long Island goes 1-for-2 on 'Ultimate Fighter'

Season 11 of "The Ultimate Fighter" premiered this past Wednesday with two of the 28 fighters having Long Island connections.

Season 11 of "The Ultimate Fighter" continues next Wednesday with 1 of the 14 remaining fighters having Long Island connections.

Rich Attonito, a 32-year-old from Madison, N.J., who wrestled for Hofstra University, won his fight rather easily to get into the house for the TUF 11 season. He handled Lyle Steffens en route to the decision.

Constantinos Philippou, from Merrick by way of Greece and part of Team Serra Longo, was dominating Joe Henle in the first and second round until he got caught in an armbar and tapped.
