A report surfacing out of Brazil via Yahoo! Interactive Sport said Wednesday that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva suffered a broken rib. (Here's the story, hopefully translated from Portuguese into English via Google.)

Silva's camp has emphatically denied the report to MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting, among others. UFC president Dana White did the same.

Silva is scheduled to fight Baldwin's Chris Weidman at UFC 162 on July 6 in Las Vegas. Weidman's camp told Newsday that they heard from Silva's team that everything is fine with the champion.
