Perhaps the best way to explain what Uriah Hall did to Bubba McDaniel in the "The Ultimate Fighter" quarterfinals that aired Tuesday night is to repeat what McDaniel said in the seconds after he got knocked out.

"What's wrong?," McDaniel said. "What's wrong? Huh? What's wrong? Why is my eye -- -- up? My eye hurts."

Hall, who grew up in Queens after emigrating from Jamaica, threw one knee in opening seconds of the fight, then landed a powerful straight right that dropped McDaniel instantly. For good measure, Hall sprinted in and threw a few hammer fists to the grounded McDaniel before referee Herb Dean could get over there to stop the bout.

Yes, it was that quick. A straight right to the left eye of McDaniel and Hall moved on to the semifinals.

"The way this guy knocks out people out, you don't even want to clap," UFC president Dana White said. "You feel bad clapping."

Hall will fight Dylan Andrews in the semifinals on the April 9 (taped) episode, with the live finale April 13 at Mandalay Bay. Josh Samman fights Kelvin Gastelum in the other semifinal.
