In a back-and-forth battle that is all words and nothing else between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman, it's the UFC middleweight champion's turn.

On the latest edition of "UFC Tonight," Silva spoke to Fuel TV's Karyn Bryant from his new Muay Thai College. The video is embedded below, but here are the three key points from Silva:

"The people talk, blah, blah, blah, blah."

"He's...

Long Island's Dennis Bermudez and Oklahoma's Matt Grice put on a thrilling fight Saturday at UFC 157 -- an instant candidate for every "Fight of the Year" Top 10 list that will surface in mid-December.

They each earned Fight of the Night honors and an accompanying $50,000 on top of their show money, and in Bermudez's case, win money, too.

UFC 157: Court McGee's boxing clinic

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - MARCH 03: Court McGee of

(Credit: Getty/Mark Kolbe)

Question: How did Josh Neer make it to the second round, let alone the third round?

Answer: Because Court McGee did not attack the right side of Neer after a left kick caused Neer to visibly express the pain and anguish it caused.  Neer backed away and obviously protected that damaged right side. McGee did throw another two shots that landed and sent Neer crumpling to the ground. Then,...

UFC 157: Robbie Lawler returns

Robbie Lawler had little time to mount an offense against Josh Koscheck at UFC 157. But, he did make the most of it.

Being outgrappled by Koscheck for the first three-plus minutes of their welterweight bout, Lawler managed to get on top with about 1:20 left.

The grounded Koscheck was pinned up against the cage and Lawler, making his UFC return, landed a big left. That shot stunned Koscheck,...

Two straight first-round knockouts derailed heavyweight Brendan Schaub's promising start to his UFC career.

With Lavar Johnson -- a man with 15 of his 17 wins coming by KO/TKO -- standing in front of him at UFC 157 on Saturday in Anaheim, Calif., Schaub understand the basic math. Getting Johnson off his feet reduces the opportunity of one of those meat hooks connecting with Schaub's face to...

UFC 157: Sam Stout decisions Caros Fodor

A guy nicknamed "Hands of Stone" using wrestling? An armbar submission attempt?

An interesting development for Sam Stout, a fighter who has spent 90 percent of his MMA career on his feet striking (according to Fight Metric).

But Stout's lightweight bout against Caros Fodor at UFC 157 on Saturday still came down to -- shocker! -- striking. Stout won a split decision over Fodor,...

Still watching the King Mo knockout

King Mo arrives at Spike TV's 6th Annual

(Credit: Getty)

Late to the party on this one a bit, since I passed out on the couch Thursday night. But watching the Bellator fights the following night, I was treated -- like many of you were -- to a fascinating knockout of King Mo Lawal by Emanuel Newton.

Who?

Emanuel Newton and his spinning back fist, thrown blindly and landing flush to the face of King Mo, the prohibitive favorite to win the Bellator...

Michael Bisping never runs short on words to say. And when the UFC middleweight from England uses his words talk about Long Island's Chris Weidman, they're usually not nice ones.

A report surfaced late this week from Brazilian publication Tatame that the UFC is negotiating with Anderson Silva to defend his title against Weidman in July.

When asked Friday about that, Bisping said Weidman...

Hey, look, it's Urijah Faber

Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Urijah Faber weighs in

(Credit: AP)

Remember when Urijah Faber would be everywhere leading up to his fight? Now, he's somewhat of an afterthought for UFC 157 on Saturday as Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche take centerstage, while Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida take the co-main event.

But the former WEC champion made an appearance Friday at the UFC weigh-ins and the interview room.

Here it is.
